Author or co-author of over 500 papers and talks, on national and international journals and at national and international meeting venues. Moderator, Chairman, Panelist or Invited Speaker at many meetings concerning the field of reconstructive or aesthetic surgery. Organizer of 18 courses at the Ospedali Riuniti in Bergamo, with international guest surgeons. In the last few years, he has lectured widely internationally in the major meetings on the topic of open, primary and secondary septorhinoplasty, often with live surgery. He has founded and directed the "First Bergamo Open Rhinoplasty Course” in Bergamo on November 28-29, 2008, an international intensive course specifically devoted to open rhinoplasty. . Subsequent expanded editions of the course followed in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018, with a wide participation of attendees from many different countries, thus establishing the “Bergamo Open Rhinoplasty Course” as one of the foremost rhinoplasty symposia in the world. The last 2018 edition in fact counted over 600 participants from 64 countries. Since January 2015 Dr Robotti runs the “Bergamo Advanced Minifellowship in Revision Rhinoseptoplasty”, a “hands on” course for a limited number of international surgeons with an interest in this field. Since 2017, he also runs the yearly course “Live Surgery with Enrico Robotti”. He is Reviewer for the “Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery” and “Aesthetic Plastic Surgery” journals regarding the topic of Rhinoseptoplasty. With over 9000 cases to present date, Dr Robotti has been active in general reconstructive plastic surgery, with emphasis on flap reconstruction in the head & neck, breast, lower extremity and trunk as well as skin cancer reconstruction of the facial district. In private practice, he is predominantly focused on rhinoseptoplasty. The latter subspecialty has especially grown in recent years, with exposure to a significant caseload of national and international patients and a special interest in complex secondary and tertiary cases, usually with rib grafting. Dr. Robotti speaks English as a second language. He is married to Silvia with two daughters. As time allows, he enjoys hiking, fishing and sailing.
